The Citizens’ Advice Bureau (CAB) is a voluntary and non-governmental organization. It was established in 1992 with an aim to undertake through research and advocacy the best intellectual endeavor for the realization, awareness, protection and promotion of citizens’ rights in Pakistan. Besides this, CAB had worked in close coordination with Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and Pakistan Bar Council for standardization and promotion of quality legal education in Pakistan. More recently CAB has founded its office in Islamabad for an afresh start in order to expedite its mission. The Bureau is dedicated to leave no stone unturned for the protection of fundamental rights of the citizens of Pakistan within the legal and constitutional framework.
